To apply through our UWC national committee, you must additionally meet the following formal criteria:
- attend the 6th or 7th grade of an AHS or the 2nd or 3rd grade of a BHS/ORG and be born between August 31, 2008 and September 1, 2010. (In justified exceptional cases, participation in the selection procedure is possible with a timely request.)
- generally do well at school
- have Austrian citizenship or live in Austria
- be able to work well independently
- show social interest and commitment
- be interested in other cultures and ideas
- be highly motivated to attend a UWC school
If you have an international background, you should check which UWC National Committee you are allowed to apply to. Please note that you are only allowed to submit one application per academic year to study at UWC, even if you are eligible to apply via more than one UWC national committee.
